Steps to Marry in TDC
Your Loved One's first step is to submit an I60 to the Law Library to get a copy of their TDCJ ID card. This is the longest process and can take 3 - 6 weeks.
Your first step is to hire an officiant to help guide you through the process of saying I DO. Texas Prison Weddings officiants are TDCJ approved and available to help make that special Moment Memorable for you and your one true love.
If you retain a Texas Prison Weddings officiant, we will be there for you every step of the way. From the contract to the "I Do"... and beyond.
You will send your Loved One 2 copies of the Affidavit of Absent Applicant from the county that you will get the license from. We suggest two in case your Loved One or the Law Librarian mess up as there can be NO errors.
